I don't play my favorite music for my friends. When we go places, they get to listen to Stayin' Alive, Lady Gaga, Lonely Island, 4chan music; anything somewhat annoying that I know the lyrics to so I can annoy the hell out of them and make a fool of myself with the windows down.
Happened on several occasions. I think it has something to do with you listening to it by yourself with headphones and when you play it in a room, it's just not quite the same. And the awkward bored stares your friends are giving you while you're playing it.
There are some songs that aren't that good the first time you hear them but they grow on you and you think they're great... but when you try to introduce someone else to that song it's hard to say "it gets better the second time you hear it" xD Very annoying indeed
Haha i totally agree with you, thats what happens almost every time. Also if 1 of my friends doesnt like it and he says it out loud, everyone else will start acting same.
This is me all the the time. I've taken to prefacing all recommendations with an exact time that it gets good so I don't have to deal with this anymore.
Ugh, so much relate!
